How to use

• Before you start work, watch the original Gyeon YouTube video. 
• Never apply the coating in direct sunlight or on hot bodywork.
• Work in a well-ventilated workshop or garage; never work in a small enclosed garage.
• Coating drying depends on temperature and humidity. The higher the temperature, the faster the coating dries.
• For both indoor and outdoor application it is recommended to work at temperatures from 15 to 25 °C.
• Start by thoroughly washing the car with a quality car shampoo without added gloss or protection. It must be a pure car shampoo.
• Always decontaminate the paint from fallout rust, tar and insect residues.
• For this we recommend using Gyeon Q²M Iron REDEFINED, Gyeon Q²M Tar REDEFINED and Gyeon Q²M Bug&Grime.
• If necessary, perform mechanical paint decontamination using clay.
• You can read about the clay process, for example, in our article "How to decontaminate the paint". 
• After completing the clay treatment, wash the bodywork again with shampoo, rinse and thoroughly dry with a quality drying towel.
• The car must be perfectly dry.
• There must not be any remaining water from washing running off during the application of the ceramic coating.
• Ideally polish the paint with a polisher to remove unsightly holograms.
• As the final but very important step, thoroughly degrease the bodywork.
• We recommend degreasing the bodywork twice for safety using Gyeon Q²M Prep and a long-pile microfiber towel Purestar Grass Buffing Towel.
• After that the paint is properly prepared for the ceramic coating application. Without preparation the ceramic coating will not perform correctly!
• Always put on protective rubber gloves before application; health comes first!
• Shake the bottle with the ceramic coating.
• Drop the ceramic coating onto the supplied applicator sponge.
• Apply in cross-hatch motions.
• Within 10 minutes after application, wipe off the coating with a microfiber cloth (e.g. Gyeon Q²M PolishWipe EVO, or Gyeon Q²M SoftWipe EVO).
• However, as soon as the temperature rises, shorten the time between application and wiping.
• Gyeon Q² Pure EVO forms a thick layer, so you'll need an absorbent microfiber cloth. Choosing the right cloth is essential in this case.
• Work in this manner gradually (in sections) over the entire bodywork.
• During application we recommend changing cloths; over time a cloth will become loaded and can leave marks that, once dried, cannot be removed. Our recommendation is to have 3 to 4 microfiber cloths for wiping off the coating.
• Do not let the microfiber cloth fall on the floor!
• Don't forget proper lighting of the surface; our TIP is to use a headlamp.
• After successful application we recommend leaving the car for at least 12 hours in a warm and dry place so the coating can cure properly.
• We recommend not washing the car for 2 weeks after application; rain does not harm the coating.
• Subsequent maintenance after applying a ceramic coating is very simple; just wash the vehicle with a quality shampoo, for example Gyeon Q²M Bathe. Everything else is unrestricted.
