How to use

Before applying the paint protection the paint must be dry and decontaminated from iron fallout and tar.
If needed, perform mechanical decontamination using a clay bar.
The clay procedure is described in our article ' Car waxing and preparation '.
The ceramic coating must not be applied in direct sunlight or in a heated garage.
Ideally, the paint should also be machine-polished if the car is not new.
Immediately before applying the ceramic coating the paint should be degreased, e.g. using the cleaner Gyeon Q2M Prep.
Always put on protective rubber gloves before application.
Wrap the soft side of the applicator block with the supplied applicator cloth and apply an appropriate amount of product along the entire length of the applicator block.
Apply the CarPro ceramic coating to an area of approximately 50 x 50 cm.
Apply the product in a thin, continuous layer in two mutually perpendicular directions (crosswise).
After coating, wait briefly until the film is almost dry and streaks on the paint acquire a rainbow sheen.
Ideally perform a test to see if the product film is dry by wiping the surface after application with a short-pile microfiber towel. If the product smears and does not disappear, it is too early. If a clean paint surface appears after wiping, it is the right time for full removal and polishing.
The drying time of the ceramic coating depends on many factors (temperature, humidity and paint type). We recommend testing the curing time first on a small area, for example on a side mirror.
Use multiple towels; for one car we recommend using up to 4 towels. It is important to have a dry and clean towel, only then will the result be flawless.
Rotate the applicator cloth as soon as it becomes contaminated with dust.
When both sides are contaminated (or if it starts to harden) replace it with a new one.
Illuminate the surface well with an external light or use a headlamp.
Ideally, after 60 minutes (or longer) apply a second (or additional) layer of the ceramic coating in the same way for even higher durability. Applying multiple layers is not mandatory.
If you accidentally miss an area and do not wipe off the product film, there is no need to worry. Within one hour the excess can be removed with a newly dampened applicator pad.
Before the first contact with water, leave the vehicle in a dry environment for 48 hours.
Do not wash the car during the first week after application.
To refresh the hydrophobic layer over time, occasionally use CarPro Reload.
Subsequent maintenance after applying the paint protection is very simple; just wash the vehicle with a quality shampoo, for example CarPro Reset.
