How to use

• Thoroughly wash the vehicle. First, wash the vehicle using a suitable alkaline cleaning product, such as Koch Chemie Green Star diluted at a ratio of 1:10. Remove all road grime, grease, and residues from previously applied protective products.
• Decontaminate the paintwork. If necessary, remove tar spots, iron fallout, tree sap, and other deposits using appropriate decontamination products. The paintwork must be completely clean before application.
• Prepare the surface. Depending on the condition of the paintwork, perform machine polishing using suitable Koch Chemie Heavy Cut, Fine Cut, or Micro Cut polishing compounds. The surface should be free of holograms and unwanted defects, as the ceramic coating will not remove them.
• Degrease the paintwork. Thoroughly remove polishing compound residue, oils, and other contaminants using Koch Chemie Silicone & Wax Remover and clean microfiber cloths. The paintwork must be completely dry.
• Apply the ceramic coating. Apply an appropriate amount of Ceramic Neo C0.03 to a suitable applicator sponge and spread it evenly over one body panel. Use two crosshatch passes to create a thin, continuous film.
• Allow the coating to flash. Let the ceramic coating flash briefly. At 20°C and 43% relative humidity, the manufacturer specifies an approximate flash time of 6 minutes. This time may be shorter at higher temperatures or humidity levels.
• Final buffing. Remove excess product using a clean microfiber cloth designed for ceramic coatings. Then gently buff the surface with a clean side of the cloth without applying excessive pressure. Inspect the surface under good lighting to ensure there are no streaks or unbuffed residues.
• Allow the coating to cure. After application, keep the vehicle in a protected environment. The ceramic layer develops weather resistance no sooner than 24 hours after application. The manufacturer recommends using a suitable topcoat sealant for protection during curing.
• Subsequent maintenance. Do not wash the vehicle for at least 9 days after application. Afterward, use gentle hand washing techniques and products suitable for ceramic-coated paintwork. Remove bird droppings and other aggressive contaminants as soon as possible.
