Carbon Collective Shift Intensive Cleaner, Glue & Tar Remover

Carbon Collective Shift Intensive Cleaner, Glue & Tar Remover is an intensive cleaner and remover of glue, tar, rubber marks and asphalt residues. Shift was primarily formulated as a glue and tar remover, but during development it proved capable of removing much more than expected. It can remove oil under engine seals, lubricants, grime and deposits in the engine bay. This intensive cleaner has been in development since early 2019; development continues and after several revisions and tweaks it is now available in its final refined version.

How to use

For tar
Spray directly and leave for a few seconds until you see brown liquid running from the tar deposit. Wipe with a clean microfiber cloth. Repeat if necessary.

For tires
Shift is excellent for removing old tire dressings and glosses as well as stubborn dirt and deposits. Apply to a microfiber cloth (until the cloth is saturated), spread over the tire sidewall, reapply the liquid (until the tire is clean), and rinse off with water to finish.

Glue
Removing glue is never easy, but Shift handles this task better than ever. Spray directly onto the surface and use a squeegee or plastic blade to remove the foam backing material; once you reach the adhesive, reapply and wipe with a microfiber cloth.

Engine
Shift easily removes years of grease buildup, oil deposits and grime in the engine bay. Spray directly onto the area, let sit for 1–2 minutes, use a stiff-bristled brush if needed, then rinse.

Factory wax
Cars often have factory-applied waxes and sealing sprays that Shift can easily remove. Simply spray directly onto the affected area and wipe with a microfiber cloth, repeating until the desired effect is achieved.

Rubber marks
On sports cars that have been on track you may find tire deposits on the rear fender. Shift can be used for this as well and removes rubber residues very effectively. Spray, let sit 1–2 minutes and wipe off with a quality microfiber cloth.
