Carbon Collective Platinum Wheels Ceramic Wheel Coating
Platinum Wheels is a ceramic coating designed specifically for alloy wheels - painted, polished or anodized. You can also use it on exhaust tips, springs, metal parts in the engine bay or on brake calipers. Platinum Wheels is an ultra-durable coating with a hardness of 9H. After application the coating becomes an active layer on the wheel surface and protects it from dirt and even partially from scratches. Platinum Wheels is resistant to high temperatures (up to 350 °C) and chemicals, lasts 2 years when 2 coats are applied, and wheels are easier to clean and maintain after application. A 30 ml bottle is sufficient to protect 12 to 16 wheels (depending on size). The new updated packaging includes a dropper and a 75mm microfiber applicator that makes the job as easy as possible.

How to use
- Never use the product in direct sunlight.
- Always use chemically resistant rubber gloves.
- Work in a well-ventilated garage or ideally outside when there is no wind and the temperature and humidity are correct.
- If working at home in an enclosed space, use a filter mask.
- First wash the wheels thoroughly, ideally with wheel cleaner.
- Then clean the paint with a panel prep surface cleanser, which degreases the wheels and removes dirt, waxes, etc.
- Apply the ceramic coating with the included applicator.
- Drop a few drops into the applicator and apply ideally with crosshatch motions.
- Once you have applied the ceramic coating to one wheel, buff it with a short-pile microfiber cloth.
Our application tips
- Apply the second coat after 2 to 4 hours.
- For the second coat you can additionally apply the ceramic coating Carbon Collective Oracle for maximum effect. (This ceramic coating was enough for us to apply 2 coats on two sets of 20" wheels, including the inner barrels.)
- After application, do not use aggressive wheel cleaners such as iron fallout removers.
- Because of the ceramic, dirt does not adhere and cleaning is possible with a quality shampoo.
- Often rinsing the wheels with a pressure washer is enough to make them beautifully clean again.
- The ceramic coating also significantly repels water; after washing almost all water runs off the wheels by itself.
