Carbon Collective Platinum Wheels Ceramic Wheel Coating

Carbon Collective Platinum Wheels Ceramic Wheel Coating delivers top-tier protection for alloy wheels and other heavily stressed metal parts of the vehicle. This ultra-durable ceramic coating with a 9H hardness forms an active barrier on the surface that effectively repels brake dust, road grime and protects against minor mechanical damage. Thanks to extreme temperature resistance it is an ideal choice not only for wheel rims but also for brake calipers or exhaust tips.

Everyday use exposes car wheels to extreme conditions such as high temperatures from the brakes, aggressive brake dust, road salt and moisture. Regular waxes and sealants fail quickly in this environment as they cannot withstand temperatures reaching hundreds of degrees Celsius. This specially developed ceramic coating offers heat resistance up to 350 °C. After application it bonds chemically to the surface and creates an extremely hard protective layer with certified 9H hardness. This layer prevents hot brake dust from embedding into the wheel finish and protects against chemical corrosion and the fine scratches that occur during routine washing.

One of the biggest benefits of applying this ceramic protection is the ease of subsequent maintenance. The coating has strong hydrophobic properties, meaning it effectively repels water and liquid contaminants. In practice this means dirt does not cling as firmly to the surface and you won’t need aggressive acidic or highly alkaline cleaners for safe removal. In most cases, pressure rinsing or a mild pH-neutral car shampoo is sufficient to remove typical road film and brake dust. Wheels therefore stay cleaner longer and require a fraction of the previous cleaning time, appreciated by both automotive enthusiasts and professional detailers.

This product is designed for maximum versatility and long service life. It can be safely applied to a wide range of surfaces including painted, powder-coated, anodised, matte, satin and polished metal wheels. Besides wheels themselves it is also suitable for brake calipers, dampers, springs or stainless-steel exhaust tips. When two recommended coats are applied, the coating provides protection for at least two years. The package also includes practical 75 mm microfiber applicators that make it easy to apply the product evenly without unnecessary waste.

How to use

  • Never apply the product in direct sunlight or on a hot surface.
  • Always wear chemical-resistant rubber gloves when working.
  • Apply in a well-ventilated garage or in a wind-free outdoor environment at suitable temperature and humidity.
  • When working indoors we recommend using a protective filtration mask.
  • First thoroughly wash the wheels, ideally using a specialised wheel cleaner.
  • Then degrease and clean the surface with a paint surface cleaner that removes residues of waxes and other contaminants.
  • Apply the ceramic coating using the supplied microfiber applicator.
  • Place several drops on the applicator and spread evenly on the surface, ideally using crosswise motions.
  • After applying to one wheel, immediately buff the coating with a clean short‑pile microfiber cloth.
  • Apply the second layer after 2 to 4 hours.
  • For maximum effect you can finish with the Carbon Collective Oracle ceramic coating as a top layer.
  • After successful application avoid using aggressive wheel cleaners such as iron fallout removers.
  • For regular washing afterwards a pH‑neutral car shampoo or plain pressure rinsing is sufficient.
