Carbon Collective HEX Microfibre Polishing Pad (Polishing 3 - Orange)
A soft microfibre polishing pad that provides an effective solution for the final polishing stage and removal of fine defects. With its specific construction and foam interface it ensures even pressure and excellent contact with the car body surface. It’s the ideal choice for increasing gloss, paint depth and for applying protective layers such as sealants or glazes.
This microfibre pad is the result of extensive development and testing aimed at creating a perfectly balanced polishing system. Unlike ordinary foam pads, microfibre behaves in a distinctive way that enables more efficient surface cleaning and better heat dispersion during work. Carefully chosen pad thickness, microfibre weight and the integrated foam damping layer ensure optimal transfer of power from the polisher to the paint surface. That makes the pad highly stable and minimises the risk of heat damage—especially useful on older, harder or very soft and sensitive paints.
The orange Refining 3 variant is designed specifically for finishing tasks, removing fine holograms, light scratches and marks left by earlier heavy compounding. The pad excels on ultra-soft clear coats, restoring maximum clarity and deep gloss without leaving micro-scratches. Besides final polishing, it’s excellent for machine application of polishing waxes, glazes and sealants. Microfibres help evenly work the product into paint pores, extending the life of the applied protection and ensuring a flawless visual result on any type of clear coat.

It features a durable hook-and-loop backing resistant to pull and heat, preventing unwanted detachment during polishing. How to use
- Thoroughly clean, decontaminate and degrease the paint surface before starting.
- Select an 80 mm backing plate and carefully centre the pad on it.
- Apply an appropriate amount of final polish, sealant or glaze directly onto the microfibre surface.
- Before starting the polisher, spread the product lightly over the area to be worked.
- Polish at the appropriate speeds depending on the polisher and product used.
- During work, regularly clean the pad with compressed air or a suitable brush to prevent microfibre clogging.
- After finishing, gently wash the pad and allow to air dry.
