The Blaupunkt GTb 8200 A is a compact active bass-reflex subwoofer with an integrated Class D amplifier. It is equipped with an 8" (200 mm) driver with a spun paper cone (SPC) and offers 75 W RMS / 200 W max. Thanks to its small dimensions, it is suitable for installations where you want to add a more pronounced bass component without a large subwoofer enclosure in the trunk.
Integrated Class D amplifier
The GTb 8200 A has its own digital Class D amplifier, so a separate external amplifier is not required. The manufacturer specifies 75 W RMS and 200 W maximum power.
RCA and High Level input
The subwoofer can be connected via classic RCA/Cinch inputs or directly to the car radio’s speaker outputs using the High Level input. This simplifies installation even in vehicles with a factory radio that lacks RCA outputs.
Automatic on/off
Blaupunkt supports automatic switching on and off via High Level, RCA/Cinch or REMOTE signal. The subwoofer automatically turns off approximately 30 seconds after signal loss.
Adjustable low-pass, phase and gain
To properly match the rest of the audio system, there is a continuously adjustable LPF from 70–190 Hz, phase adjustment 0–180° and input sensitivity 0.3–8 V.
Durable MDF enclosure
