Bilt Hamber Atom-Mac
Bilt Hamber Atom-Mac is a highly effective migrating and contact corrosion inhibitor that is easily diluted with water before application. It provides reliable protection for metal surfaces on the exterior and in hard-to-reach cavities of the vehicle. By releasing active substances in the vapor phase, it creates an invisible protective shield that prevents rust formation even in places where conventional products cannot reach.
This modern anti-corrosion product is designed to protect sensitive metal parts of the vehicle from the adverse effects of moisture and road salt. It is ideal for treating chassis, wheel suspension, brake discs, as well as garden equipment or other machinery. After application it creates a microscopic barrier on the surface that actively suppresses oxidation processes and extends the life of metal components.
The product's uniqueness lies in its ability to migrate in the vapor phase. That means the protective substances evaporate and condense even in enclosed cavities, where they form a continuous anti-corrosion film. It also performs excellently as an additive to rinse water after mechanical cleaning or after using rust removers such as Deox-C or Deox-Gel, where it reliably prevents the onset of immediate flash rust.
The product is completely safe for painted surfaces, plastics and rubber parts, allowing carefree application across the entire vehicle. It can be applied to a wet surface after washing, so you can confidently park the vehicle in a garage where the evaporating inhibitor will provide protection. It is an ideal solution for winter maintenance, where it neutralizes aggressive road salt and protects the chassis from degradation.
Main features
- A concentrated corrosion inhibitor dilutable with water that protects metal surfaces both by contact and in the vapor phase.
- Provides protection for open areas as well as internal cavities of vehicles and machines.
- Prevents flash rust after blasting or chemical cleaning.
- Safe for painted and coated surfaces.
- Neutralizes residues of aggressive winter road salt on the chassis.
- Suitable for protecting brake discs, suspension, bicycles and garden tools.
- Enables protection of the vehicle even during storage in a damp garage environment.
How to use
- Dilute at 2–5% in demineralized or distilled water and spray onto the surfaces you want to protect.
- For protecting brake discs after washing, spray on the surface and let dry (use 1–2% dilution for motorcycles and bicycles, 5% for passenger cars).
- For cavity application, apply at a rate of 2 ml of pure product per 1 litre of cavity volume.
- To neutralize road salt on the chassis, spray a solution diluted to 2–5% onto the vehicle underside.
- When used after Deox-C or Deox-Gel, add 2% of the product to the rinse water to prevent flash rust.
- The product can also be applied with a pressure washer to the entire chassis at the end of washing; the target concentration at the nozzle should be approximately 2%.
- Storing the treated item in a closed plastic bag or container will support the effect of migrating inhibitors.
- Can be applied to a wet vehicle before storing it in a garage.
