ADBL Tar Remover Thixotropic is a highly effective product designed for easy and safe removal of asphalt, tar and adhesive residues from the vehicle body surface. Thanks to its special thixotropic consistency, it does not run off vertical surfaces and allows the active ingredients to work precisely where they are needed most. It is an ideal solution for paint decontamination before applying protective layers.
During normal road use, small particles of hot asphalt and tar constantly accumulate on the lower parts of the bodywork, in wheel arches and on wheel rims. These contaminants cannot be removed with an ordinary shampoo and mechanical cleaning risks scratching the paint. This tar remover effectively dissolves these solid particles, minimizing the risk of mechanical damage to the surface during subsequent washing.
The unique feature of this product is its thixotropic structure. When applied with a spray, the liquid instantly increases its viscosity on the surface and temporarily gels, which prevents rapid runoff and evaporation. Thanks to this, the natural citrus oils contained in the formula can act on the contaminants for a much longer time. The composition is also gentle on painted surfaces, plastics and rubber seals.
In addition to paint decontamination, the product is also useful for cleaning the engine bay, door sills or removing hardened lubricants and preservation waxes from body cavities. How to use
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Do not work in direct sunlight and apply to a cool, dry surface.
- When working, use protective rubber gloves.
- Apply the product to a dry surface from the bottom up.
- Leave to act for 5 to 15 minutes.
- In case of heavy contamination, the product can be left on the paint for several hours.
- Then rinse the surface with pressure water and wash the car with car shampoo, or wipe with a long-pile microfiber cloth.
- Repeat the whole process if necessary.
- Store in a cool place protected from sunlight and frost.
