The Aries Dawn component system is the result of a new collaboration between Audible Physics and former Bowers & Wilkins engineers. Designed entirely in the UK, the Aries Dawn speakers are characterized by a clear focus on affordable sound quality, reflected in the materials used and exclusive technologies. The mid-bass membrane is made from the patented Matrix Alloy Dome material, a magnesium and aluminum alloy. This combination excels in excellent stiffness, vibration damping ability, and exemplary lightness, allowing for the reproduction of precise and well-defined lower frequencies. The uniqueness of the mid-bass is further emphasized by a unique offset membrane. This patented technology ensures improved overall frequency response of the system, strengthens the membrane without increasing weight, and enlarges its surface area, enhancing bass performance. A durable suspension minimizes movements that could cause contact with the 25 mm voice coil and the robust ferrite magnet measuring 80 x 18 mm. The specially designed cast basket of the speaker is exceptionally rigid, eliminating vibrations and not deforming as much during membrane movement as traditional steel baskets do. It also does not reduce the magnetic field and more effectively dissipates heat from the voice coil. The mid-bass speaker is seamlessly followed by a 25 mm tweeter, whose dome is made of silk. Thanks to this material and optimal tuning, very fine and detailed tones are achieved without any sound coloration. The package also includes high-quality frequency crossovers for both the mid and high-frequency speakers, ensuring easy installation.
