Integrated 20-channel DSP processor
Inside the unit you will find high-quality components such as WIMA and ELNA capacitors, OPA1678 operational amplifiers and Toshiba chips operating in class AB. The DSP processor is based on the AK7735 chip from Asahi Kasei and digital-to-analog conversion is handled by high-quality PCM3168 circuitry. The DSP offers a 31-band equalizer for each channel with 1 Hz resolution, up to 25 ms of time delay, phase control and a choice of professional crossover types such as Butterworth, Bessel or Linkwitz-Riley. The output signal is fully tunable including gain and Q settings. A stable and comprehensive PC tuning software is included, as well as an intuitive mobile app for settings via phone. With low distortion (≤0.05 %) and a high signal-to-noise ratio (≥98 dB), the resulting sound is precise and faithful, suitable even for demanding installations.

About the Nakamichi brand
The history of Nakamichi dates back to 1948, when it was founded in Japan by Etsuro Nakamichi. His journey toward fulfilling his dreams began with the establishment of a small research institute, Nakamichi Research Corporation, in Tokyo. It focused on sonar and magnet research and provided development solutions for leading brands, government institutions, universities and other organizations. Since then it has established itself as a trusted creator of high-quality products born from intensive scientific work, a passion for sound and a commitment to uncompromising quality and performance. In 1972, Takeshi Nakamichi joined Nakamichi Corporation and played a key role during its period of growth. He was closely involved in the development of all the brand's legendary audio products sold in Asia, America and Europe – including the introduction of the Nakamichi 1000, the world's first cassette deck. He was regarded as one of the world's leading acoustics and sound engineers, able to combine top-notch sound with the genius design virtues of the brand's then chief engineer Kozo Kobayashi. These amplifiers, players and car radios are today considered legends for their unsurpassed quality. Nakamichi remains successful today, producing high-quality products not only for home audio but also for vehicles. The manufacturer's cleverly designed portfolio continues to grow, and virtually all products stand out for their excellent sound and build quality in their price category.
