A digital radio with DAB+, USB playback and smartphone connectivity. The UTE-204DAB is an affordable digital 1DIN DAB+ radio that will upgrade your sound with Alpine quality. It offers many connectivity features to make your journeys more enjoyable. Connect your iPhone or Android to enjoy all your stored audio content. You can also stream Spotify or internet radio via Bluetooth, or listen to your favorite music from a USB flash drive. The included microphone enables clear phone conversations with the built-in Bluetooth handsfree function. You can customize the display and button illumination in full RGB to match your preferences and your vehicle’s dashboard. A wireless remote control is available as an accessory.Main features
- Built-in DAB+ digital radio - the built-in DAB+ tuner uses advanced digital technology to deliver radio reception with excellent sound quality and no noise. DAB+ also offers many advantages over traditional FM: choose from a much wider selection of radio stations and, after an initial scan, easily select channels from an alphabetical or genre list of available stations.
- Made for iPhone - connect your iPhone via USB cable (not included) to enjoy stored audio content or Apple Music in your car. Simply select tracks, albums or playlists on your iPhone or directly via the Alpine head unit.
- Android compatible - if you have an Android phone or tablet, you can connect it via USB (cable not included) to the Alpine head unit and enjoy audio content through your car’s speakers. You can select tracks on the phone/tablet or use the Alpine unit’s rotary encoder.
- Bluetooth - the UTE-204DAB has a built-in, high-quality Bluetooth module that allows you to make safe, handsfree phone calls while driving. A separate microphone is included.
- Enjoy Spotify streaming - Spotify is a great way to discover new music and enjoy all your favorite tracks. Start a playlist, genre or album on your phone before you drive and stream it wirelessly via Bluetooth to the Alpine head unit. Enjoy music through your car’s audio system.
- Stream internet radio - there are many internet radio apps available for your smartphone. Simply start the internet radio app on your phone and connect via Bluetooth or the Alpine head unit’s AUX input (requires an optional AUX cable).
- USB input - the front USB port is ready for USB sticks and USB hard drives with power requirements up to 1000 mA. Take music with you on a USB flash drive and enjoy MP3, AAC, WMA and FLAC files with convenient browsing features.
- FLAC playback - high-quality FLAC audio compression is becoming increasingly popular because it delivers much better sound quality compared to standard MP3 files. This Alpine unit can play FLAC files stored on USB media.
- Tune your sound - adjust the Alpine head unit’s sound to your personal preference with Bass Engine SQ for amazing bass output and EQ functions (10 presets or a 3-band parametric equalizer). Connect external amplifiers to the 3 preamp outputs (2 volts), or simply enjoy direct speaker connections with the built-in high-quality 4 x 50 W amplifier.
