Alpine DVR-Q1000 Dash Camera

The Alpine DVR-Q1000 connected dash camera is an excellent choice for drivers who value high-quality video recordings in 2K QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) at 30 frames per second, or FHD (1920x1080) at 60 frames per second. When connected to an internet device, such as a smartphone, in-car WiFi, or pocket WiFi, the dash camera can store recorded footage in the cloud, allowing you to download and view it on your smartphone at any time. You can even watch live recordings from the dash camera and view the vehicle's location on a digital map. The parking monitoring mode automatically activates when the ignition is turned off and records when motion or impact is detected, providing video evidence of incidents even when you're away from the vehicle. You can even activate push notifications on your smartphone to be alerted in case of an impact greater than 3G. To ensure excellent recordings day and night, the DVR-Q1000 is equipped with amazing technologies, such as Super Night Vision 3.0 combined with HDR to capture important details even at night. Dewarping technology ensures minimal edge distortion, reducing the fish-eye effect on all recordings taken with the 156° wide-angle lens. The DVR-Q1000 also includes driver assistance features like lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and more, as well as alerts for speed limit violations and intersection cameras.

Main Features

  • Super Night Vision 3.0 - With a 5.14MP Sony STARVIS sensor and Super Night Vision 3.0 technology, the DVR-Q1000 enhances video brightness in low-light conditions, ensuring you don't miss important details on the road.
  • Wide Dynamic Range - Prevents overexposure of dash camera footage when bright light sources appear during driving, maintaining recording clarity. Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology allows the dash camera to capture clearer images in highly contrasting environments. It can address issues such as the intense contrast of light sources. In the event of sudden changes in front lighting, such as entering and exiting a tunnel or driving directly into bright sunlight, the Wide Dynamic Range function eliminates overly bright spots in the recordings.
  • Thinkware Connected Cloud - When the DVR-Q1000 is connected to the internet via a smartphone hotspot or similar device, recordings can be seamlessly uploaded to the cloud. The ability to access video recordings anytime, anywhere ensures convenience and flexibility, allowing users to share them with insurance companies and other authorities as needed. This feature requires a free Thinkware Connected account. Footage can be stored in the Thinkware Connected cloud storage for up to 30 days.
  • Thinkware CONNECTED - Receive notifications, view recordings, and track location when you're away from the vehicle and in real-time via the Thinkware Connected app for smartphones and computers. Each Connected account can link up to 30 vehicles for FREE (ideal for families and fleets). When the driver presses the REC button on the dash camera for more than 3 seconds and requests assistance, an emergency message can be sent to all registered contacts. In this situation, a 10-second video (5 seconds before and after the event) is automatically uploaded to the server. You can register the contact details of your friends, family, or colleagues to ensure help is on the way in case of an incident.
  • Impact Notification during Driving - In the event of a serious impact stronger than 3G, a notification will appear in the Thinkware CONNECTED app, and an emergency message will be sent to registered contacts. The notification and message will contain crucial information, such as the location of the accident, and a link to a 20-second video clip of the incident (10 seconds before and after the impact). This clip is automatically saved on the server and can be accessed later. This feature is useful in the event of a potentially serious accident, allowing your loved ones or fleet manager to take quick action.
  • Vehicle Status and Driving History - In the Thinkware CONNECTED app, you can check important information, such as whether the vehicle is parked or moving, check the battery voltage, and if the battery voltage is low, you can even remotely turn off the dash camera. The app also allows you to view driving history with information such as date, time, distance, route, and driver behavior.
  • Forward Collision Warning System - Avoid accidents by maintaining a safe distance. The DVR-Q1000 calculates in real-time the distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front at speeds above 30 km/h on the highway or below 30 km/h in busy cities and issues a three-level early warning to the driver depending on the risk of collision.
