Cleaning and Maintenance of Rubber Trays
Keeping a car clean and tidy is not only aesthetically pleasing but also safer for transported items. Dust and coarse dirt that settle in the tray over time can scratch transported items, so it is essential to keep the tray clean and in order. We recommend cleaning the rubber tray at least once every two months, or more frequently if you often transport items. Here's a simple method to do it.- First, thoroughly vacuum the tray. (Either inside the car or outside.)
- Shake out dirt outside in an appropriate place.
- Vacuum the luggage space itself.
- Place the tray outside on a clean surface or hang it on a wall or designated area.
- It's important to keep the bottom side of the rubber tray clean.
- Spray a universal cleaner and let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes.
- If the tray is heavily soiled, use a brush.
- Ideally, use a pressure washer to rinse off dirt and allow it to dry naturally.
- If a pressure washer is not available, use a microfiber cloth to wipe off the cleaner gradually.
- Return the clean and dry rubber tray to the car.
