How to apply by hand
- Work on a panel that is in the shade and cool to the touch.
- Put a small amount of product the size of a crown coin on a foam applicator and work it into the applicator so its surface is moistened.
- Then add a droplet the size of a cherry pit and apply it to the surface.
- Work in circular motions and let the applicator glide over the surface with no pressure.
- Apply a very thin matte film, visible against the light.
- Add the hybrid ceramic wax in 1–2 cherry-sized drops only if needed—if the applicator is not laying down a sufficient thin layer as at the start of the job.
- A thicker layer of hybrid ceramic wax does not increase protection! If you use too much wax, it will be harder to remove and the container will be used up sooner!
- Let the wax cure on the surface for 3–5 minutes (depending on ambient conditions such as temperature and humidity).
- After curing, gently remove the wax with a microfiber towel such as Meguiar's Finishing Towel, Meguiar's Supreme Shine Microfiber Towel or Meguiar's Ultimate Microfiber Towel.
- Note: Hybrid ceramic wax does not whiten when curing like traditional waxes and does not leave white stains on plastic and rubber trims.
How to apply with a polisher
- Work on a panel that is in the shade and cool to the touch.
- Use a black foam pad (G3509 for DA Power System or DFF5 or DFF6 for a DA polisher).
- Apply 3–4 cherry-sized drops to the pad and work them fully into the pad so its surface is moistened.
- Then add a droplet the size of a cherry pit and apply the hybrid ceramic wax to the surface.
- Work at low speed (max. 1200 RPM on a drill; set 3800 OPM on a DA polisher).
- Cover the entire panel with a thin matte film of wax with absolutely no pressure.
- Add wax in 1–2 cherry-sized drops only if needed—if the pad is not applying a sufficiently thin layer as at the start of the job.
