Gyeon Q² Trim EVO is a permanent ceramic protection for exterior unpainted plastics that has undergone a complete formula revision, resulting in improved self-cleaning properties and an even stronger protective layer. The product can be applied to various vehicle parts such as textured exterior plastics and trim or plastics with a clear coating (e.g. headlamp covers after restoration). You will probably not find this unique quality in other products on the market. It is common to observe fading or discoloration of automotive surface materials due to UV exposure and strong chemicals used in car washes. Gyeon Q² Trim EVO preserves a long-lasting, maximum color saturation effect that provides a matte to satin finish. Even after 24 months the color saturation effect does not diminish, which often exceeds the lifespan of traditional products. For all EVO ceramic coatings Gyeon guarantees easier application and up to 50% greater durability and resistance during everyday vehicle use. Gyeon Q² Trim EVO is not just a protective ceramic coating but also provides very strong color-restoring capabilities.

How to use

• Before you start, watch the official Gyeon YouTube video.
• Never apply the protective coating in direct sunlight or on hot plastics.
• Work in a well-ventilated workshop or garage; never work in a small enclosed garage.
• To start, thoroughly wash the car with a quality car shampoo without added gloss or protection. It must be a plain car shampoo.
• Clean the plastics with Gyeon Q²M TrimCleaner; for cleaning you can use a detailing brush (e.g. Work Stuff Detailing Brush Classic 24 mm) or a basic microfiber cloth (e.g. Purestar Speed Polish Multi Towel Gray).
• The next and very important step is thorough degreasing.
• Degrease the plastics using Gyeon Q²M Prep and a long-pile microfiber towel such as the Purestar Grass Buffing Towel.
• Always wear protective rubber gloves before applying the ceramic protection to plastics; health comes first!
• Shake the bottle with the ceramic coating.
• Dispense the ceramic coating onto the supplied applicator sponge with the cloth.
• For textured surfaces you can use a microfiber applicator such as the Gyeon Q²M MF Applicator EVO 2-Pack.
• Apply (if possible) with cross motions to a smaller area, e.g. one plastic trim piece.
• Then wipe the coating with a microfiber cloth (e.g. Gyeon Q²M PolishWipe EVO or Gyeon Q²M SoftWipe EVO).
• If the plastic is porous, wiping may not be necessary.
• Do not let a microfiber cloth fall on the floor!
• Work gradually, section by section.
• If the ceramic coating comes into contact with paint during application, it must be wiped off the paint within 5 minutes.
• Don’t forget good illumination of the surface; our TIP is to use a headlamp.
• After successful application we recommend leaving the car for at least 12 hours in a warm, dry place so the coating can properly cure.
• The vehicle can come into contact with water no sooner than 24 hours after application.
• For 2 weeks after application we recommend not washing the car; rain does not harm the coating.
• Subsequent maintenance after applying the ceramic coating is very simple: just wash the vehicle with a quality shampoo, for example Gyeon Q²M Bathe. Everything else is unrestricted.
