The Bluetooth module for the DSP processor is primarily used for streaming music from an external player or mobile phone. Advanced Bluetooth modules also enable lossless playback of high-resolution (Hi-Res) files by streaming directly to the DSP processor and bypassing the factory head unit. A secondary function is usually the ability to wirelessly connect a laptop, tablet or mobile phone to set up the DSP processor.
