The Blaupunkt Skagen 400 DAB is a modern 1DIN car stereo with a high-quality CODEM tuner, digital radio DAB/DAB+, Bluetooth 5.0, a front USB, rear AUX input and support for Apple iPod/iPhone via USB. It also offers 4-channel RCA pre-outs, a dedicated stereo Sub-Out, analog steering wheel control input and 7-color illumination.
DAB+ and high-end CODEM tuner
The unit supports FM, AM, DAB and DAB+ and offers features such as AF, REG, RT, CT, PTY, TA, DLS and Service Following. The DAB section operates in the 5A–13F / 174.928–239.200 MHz range.
Bluetooth 5.0
Integrated Bluetooth 5.0 LE enables handsfree calling and wireless music streaming. The stereo supports an internal or external microphone, a phonebook for up to 1000 entries and voice assistants such as Siri, Google Assistant or Alexa. It remembers the last 5 paired devices and can have 1 device connected simultaneously.
USB and Apple iPod/iPhone
The front USB supports MP2, MP3, WMA, FLAC, M4A/AAC and WAV formats. FAT16, FAT32 and exFAT are supported and media over 128 GB are supported. The unit also allows direct control of a compatible Apple iPod/iPhone via USB.
4 × 50 W power and RCA outputs
The built-in amplifier provides 4 × 50 W max. / 4 × 24 W RMS at 14.4 V. There is a 4-channel RCA pre-out < 2 V and a separate 2-channel Sub-Out < 2 V with adjustable level and frequency.
