The Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB is a modern reissue of the legendary Bremen SQR 46 car radio from 1986. It preserves the typical 1980s look while offering contemporary features such as DAB/DAB+, Bluetooth Twin Connect, USB, AUX, SD/SDHC, iPod/iPhone control and Variocolour backlighting.
DAB+ and High-End CODEM tuner
The radio uses a High-End Blaupunkt CODEM tuner and supports FM, AM and DAB/DAB+. It offers 15 DAB presets and 25 analog presets, Radiotext, DLS, Service Following and other features for stable reception.
Bluetooth Twin Connect
Integrated Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR supports HFP, PBAP, A2DP, AVRCP and SPP. The radio remembers 5 paired devices and, thanks to Twin Connect, allows simultaneous connection of 2 phones for calling. An internal microphone and an input for an external microphone are available.
2× USB, SDHC and AUX
The Bremen SQR 46 DAB has 1× front USB, 1× rear USB, a front SD/SDHC slot and a front 3.5 mm AUX. It supports SDHC cards up to 32 GB and MP3 and WMA formats. Apple iPod/iPhone control is possible via USB for compatible devices.
3-band semi-parametric equalizer
The radio offers a 3-band semi-parametric EQ, Bass/Treble, Balance/Fader, X-Bass and sound presets Rock, Pop and Classic. The built-in amplifier provides 4 × 50 W max. / 4 × 24 W RMS at 14.4 V.
RCA 4 V and Sub-Out
For external amplifiers there is a 4-channel RCA pre-out at 4 V and a separate Sub-Out with adjustable level and frequency. The radio also supports analog programmable steering wheel control.
