Blaupunkt BPA 1124 DAB BT
The Blaupunkt BPA 1124 DAB BT is a modern 1DIN car stereo with digital DAB/DAB+ radio, Bluetooth 5.0, an FM/AM tuner with RDS and a pair of front USB ports. One USB port is for music playback, the other for charging mobile devices with up to 2 A. There's also a front AUX input, multicolor backlighting in 7 colors and a short installation depth.
Digital DAB/DAB+ radio
The radio supports DAB and DAB+ in bands 5A to 13F as well as traditional FM/AM broadcasting. Memory is available for 18 FM, 12 AM and 18 DAB stations. The DAB antenna input uses an SMB connector and supports 12V phantom power, which makes connecting an active DAB antenna easier.
Bluetooth 5.0 with handsfree
Integrated Bluetooth 5.0 enables handsfree calling and wireless music streaming. The radio has an internal microphone and also an input for an external handsfree microphone, which is included in the package. It supports the A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and SPP profiles.
Two USB ports and AUX input
There are two USB-A ports on the front panel. The port labeled MUSIC is used for playing MP3 and WMA files, the second USB port provides 5 V / max. 2 A power for charging a phone or other device. A front 3.5 mm AUX input is also available.
4 × 50 W power and subwoofer output
The built-in amplifier offers a maximum output of 4 × 50 W, with Blaupunkt specifying a continuous (RMS) output of 4 × 24 W at 14.4 V. For external amplifiers the radio is equipped with a 4-channel RCA pre-out at 1 V and a separate stereo Sub-Out (2× RCA). Sound can be adjusted with bass, treble, balance, fader and Loudness. Presets include Rock, Pop, Classic, Jazz and Flat. The radio does not have a classic multi-band equalizer.
Multicolor backlighting
The display and buttons support 7 selectable backlight colors – red, green, blue, yellow, turquoise, purple and white. An automatic color cycle is also available.
